Description
The seeds from this tree are considered as one of the canoe crops brought over by the voyagers to Hawaii. The tree is a symbol of peace, protection and light for the Hawaiians and is the state tree of all the islands of Hawaii. It is also known by the name “Candlenut’ as the nut oil was burned in lamps to provide light. It is very versatile: the wood can be used to build canoes and the sap from the leaves and roots are healing medicine for cuts, cold sores and wounds. The roasted nuts are crushed with salt to make ‘inamona’ which is used to season poke, raw fish and limu, seaweed.
The vibration of the essence is preserved in filtered water and vodka at 8.4% alcohol.

natalie Guy –
Alison’s Kukui Tree essence has been wonderful to ‘re-light’ my inner spark. Its feels like a warm glow in my solar plexus and I feel more empowered. I use 7 drops in a glass of water, but have taken it under the tongue.
A big thank you!
