Land of the Druids

I drove to Glastonbury to the land of the Druids and the Somerset levels. I had suddenly booked the trip and I was there to place a coin given to me by Stephen Ross. http://www.lesscomplicated.net/

I climbed the Tor at sunrise and absorbed the magic at the Chalice well.  I drank the red and the white water and in the early morning listened to the sound of the freely flowing water at the White Spring. The resonance of the waters in the well, the tap, the fountain and the crevices in the pavement gave effortless grace to the flow of water.

I could not find the right spot to place the coin and was about to go home with it when I was called to walk across some fields near the campsite that I was staying in. I came across Gog and Magog the ancient oak trees of Avalon. One had been burnt and the other was still alive. The trees directed me to a path where I found a view of the Tor again and I realised that this was the place. The land seemed so still it appeared like a flat horizon through my sacrum. It was as if I had journeyed here before, I already knew what I was being told and yet I could form no words. I breathed in the stillness and aliveness of the wildflower meadows. I sat and meditated and then placed the coin in the direction of the southwest. On some medicine wheels this is the direction of the past and sacred dream of life. I came home with a new inner grounding as if I was walking wearing boots covered by brown clagging clay.

After burying the coin and walking back, I knew that I was complete; I knew that this trip was complete. It was nothing that I had planned, I just decided to go, and it fell into place at every step. Was it about trusting or knowing or simply listening deeply to the earth’s calling, hearing her heartbeat pulse through my feet. The earth is shifting, the sun is moving the poles are changing, the animals too, we are all completing a cycle ready to embrace the new. Opportunities are coming, new discoveries and transformation and with curiosity, patience and resilience we give it presence.  One of my teachers, Puma Quispe Singona said that we can choose to be always ready and yet not prepared. https://www.noqankani.com/

The portal of a sound bath

That evening I had booked a sound bath and went along to see Giles. https://www.gilesmountain.com/

Giles has a beautiful voice and is masterful with the sound that he generates with all his tools.  It was a very deep and profound and I experienced tummy pain. This often means that things are moving through me where previously the energy had not been moving so freely.  I slept soundly that night and the following day I meditated around the white water of the well that I’d brought home. I drank some of the water putting it next to the flower essences made in Hawaii. I was given the message, Ê»Open your heart even moreÊ» so  in response I wrote, Ê»I approach all relationships with a whole heart.Ê» These are the parts, separate and unconscious that I’ve been protecting, perhaps from fear or those that I had not recognised before. As I opened my eyes there was a spider right in front of my forehead that had travelled all the way down from the ceiling on a long thread. I knew that my prayers had been answered and that I was ready and moving into the next chapter or of my life

Aho.
