What are the origins of the Munay Ki?

The Munay Ki is a body of shamanic teachings and initiations supporting us to realise our wisdom and power; living without fear. This is a period of great transformation for us all and the Munay Ki helps us to navigate and move through these changes with greater ease. The initiations have been sent out into the world to assist in the uplifting of humanity.

The Q’ero from whom these rites originate are known as “Children of the Sun” and they have been the guardians of this ancient knowledge of the inner worlds and the energetic realms for many hundreds of years. These rites of passage and initiation were initially passed on by spirit but now permission has been given for them to be handed on by a teacher. Alberto Villoldo worked with the Peruvian peoples of the Andes and Amazon for over 25 years to digest and present this body of teachings to the west.

In the Quecha language ‘Munay’ means universal love. ‘Ki’ is from the Japanese language meaning energy. Together it the energy of love, the power of an awakened heart. In Buddhist philosophy it is known as the Prajnaparamita.

What benefit will I receive by participating in the Munay Ki?

The ten rites you will receive are stages of initiation that lead you to a new evolutionary consciousness. This enables your body to renew time and time again as your DNA changes with the environment within and around you. We start to ‘remember’ our eternal nature free of ordinary time. New structure, healing and direction for into our lives. Following your personal transformation and recentring you accept stewardship for all creation and are invited to become instruments of peace and agents of change: Earth keepers.

What skills will be gained by participating in the Munay Ki rites?

The rites of the Munay Ki transform and upgrade your luminous energy field healing the wounds of the past, karmic and genetic programmes and beliefs so that you can step into your best destiny now. You will learn about your own energy, clearing heavy energy (Hucha) and transmuting it into lighter energy(Sami). You will deepen your connection with the earth and nature and work with the five elements that form and inform your being.

These teachings are an experiential and potent way to realise your innate potential. We learn to heal ourselves and which assists in healing the planet. The art of ritual, ceremony and other tools help us to let go and transmute and create ourselves anew to flow in the river of life once more.

What are the long-term benefits?

These seeds of initiation when watered and nurtured will bring blessings into every area of your life. As you connect to a deeper belief and knowing that the universe is abundant, and you are always supported by our benevolent mother earth there will be greater harmony in all your relationships.

My personal experience

I have been called to pass on the power and wisdom of the Munay -Ki teachings. They marry up with other teachings I have received from the Hawaiian peoples. They have given me greater confidence, happiness and direction as well as enabling me to release long held trauma, judgements and beliefs. These changes have led me to a deeper connection with nature, my intuitive skills, Self and Spirit. I realize now that the book I wrote before I embarked on this journey was an initiation into becoming an Earthkeeper.

I give thanks and blessings and much Munay to all my teachers and hope that these initiation rites will be of great service to you, as they have been for me. I have always had a deep understanding and desire that people can heal themselves and become whole with great connections to all that is.

Origin of the Rites

1 The Healers Rite

The Healers Rite is known as the Hampe blessing and comes from the highland Q’ero people. It activates a deep current of healing energy for ourselves and others.

2 The Bands of Power

The Bands of Power were transmitted by Juan Victor Nuñez del Prado whose father was one of the discoverers of the Q’ero nation. This rite installs essential protection in the luminous energy field (LEF) as belts of protection. These energies either break down any negative energies coming towards us and then uses it to serve us or they are deflected away. They are continualy activated.

3 The Harmony Rite

The Harmony Rite comes from the lowland Q’ero, the Huachipayre people from the edge of the Amazon. Alberto learned it from don Alejandro Cahuanchi, a renowned healer. The four organising principles of the creation are planted as seeds into the four lower chakras and then three luminous guardians into the three higher energy centres. The new energies will break down heavy energies and residues of trauma that have collected in your body field from this lifetime and past life times.

4 The Seers Rite

The Seers rite is practiced among the North Coast peoples of Peru, (the descendants of the Chimu and Moche cultures), and by the seers and trackers of the Amazon. This rite awakens new connections between the visual cortex, third eye and the heart so we are able to see energies and connect with the “eyes of the heart”

5 The Daykeepers Rite

The Daykeepers rite is known among the Andean Paqos as the Pampamesayok, referring to the lowlands and valleys of the ‘pampa’, and to the mesa or altar. This rite brings healing to the feminine within us and strengthens our relationship with the Earth and Mother. We are able to access the power of sacred altars for healing.

6 The Wisdom keepers Rite

The Wisdom Keepers rite is known among the Andean Paqos as the Altomesayok rite, referring to the high mountains of the Andes. Don Manuel Quispe was the great Altomesayok of Q’ero.

7 Earthkeepers Rite

The Earth keepers Rite is known among the Andean Paqos as the Kurak Akuyek rite, referring to the elder who ‘masticates’ the wisdom to nurture the young ones who follow.

8 The Star keepers Rite

The Star keepers Rite is known as the Mosoq Karpay, which means the ‘new rite’ in the Qechua language. This rite announces and prepares one for the ‘time to come.’

9 The Creator Rites

The Creator Rites are known as the Taitanchis rite. The word Taitanchis literally translates as ‘God.’We learn how to become the creators and creatresses that we came her to be.

10 The Rite of the Womb

The Rite of the Womb is the newest rite given to Marcela Lobos in 2013 by Shipibo elders in the Amazonian jungle. This lineage comes from women who have freed themselves from suffering and remembered the wisdom of their womb. Find out more >

The Luminous energy field (LEF) holds our personal and ancestral information, early life trauma and wounds from previous lifetimes. In this lifetime history will repeat itself unless we consciously choose to see and perceive life differently. When we upgrade to our original blueprint though the healing of our hearts in connection with Mother earth our experiences and the people we attract to us change. We start to dream the world into being for ourselves and the 7 generations before and after us. The visions of the future come as possibilities and we are able to connect with our future healed selves now.

The imprints in our LEF can manifest as disease and persistent illness but as we live our lives by the spiritual laws of the earth we regain our health and continually strengthen our immune system.

Cait’s experience of the activation of the Munay Ki Rites

Practical Information

The 11 classes are structured with information on each rite, a fire ceremony, an attunement to deepen your receiving and a journey. Each will be approximately 1.5-2hrs. The classes will be recorded but it is hoped each attendee with make every effort to be present. The classes must be taken in order.

There will be some homework to continue between classes to embody the teachings further. A private FB or Whatsapp will be available for the group.

If you feel a calling to this work for yourself and others please contact me with any questions you may have. I am available to teach privately, a minimum of 2 people or in small groups.

The cost is £450 per person for the 11 classes.

The only other cost is a Pi stone which is usually around £10- £15.
